    The YogaLocal Studio at Toren

Building community one class at a time

    DSCN5840

All of our classes are now $10!

The YogaLocal Studio invites you to open your heart through your body. Our amazing team of teachers offers a multi-traditional yoga center in the heart of Brooklyn, with personal yoga and meditation classes in one of two lovely settings: indoors: our perfectly quiet oasis with twenty-five foot ceilings, wooden walls floor to ceiling that are the closest thing to a redwood forest this side of northern California, and outdoors: our rooftop yoga terrace, serenely floating above the hubbub of Brooklyn.

YogaLocal is an easy stop on your commute, with ten different train lines within walking distance, and nestled between Fort Greene and Downtown, Brooklyn, an easy walk from Fort Greene Park, Dumbo, MetroTech, Downtown, BoCoCa, and Brooklyn Heights. Each class, crafted to meet the experience levels of the students, gives you personal attention where your body can learn, grow, and stretch.

“It is the experiencing of the goodness of life, not a particular lifestyle, not a particular dogma or set of rules, it is the experiencing of goodness itself that is the heart of yoga practice. It is from that place of experiencing, of senses being opened to goodness, that authentic generosity stems, that lifestyles change.”
