
Abhyasa Yoga Center offers personal, breath-centered, therapeutic yoga classes and yoga teacher training. Classes employ a structured breathing technique called oo-jai pranayama, or “ocean-sounding breath,” which focuses all of the moving and working of the body. The writing of founder J. Brown has been featured in Yoga Therapy in Practice, Yoga Therapy Today, and the International Journal of Yoga Therapy. The center offers a variety of drop-in yoga classes, including open, basics, community, and prenatal and postnatal.
